As a hard-working and passionate communication student, I have worked diligently towards a career in media by gaining expertise in editorial, video production, social media marketing, interviewing, and reporting.
Since entering college, I have gained professional experience through seven internships; developed team-building and communication skills through a variety of student leadership roles; and added an international competency as a study abroad student in Paris, where I served as editor-in-chief of that University’s news website.
As a VH1 Shows Blog Intern at Viacom in New York City, I helped develop editorial content that supplemented the programs airing on VH1, while aiding in the execution of the overall editorial strategy.
I am currently serving as a Video Intern at Hillary for America, where I have been able to marry my passion for storytelling with a desire for political activism, while gaining hands-on experience on fast-paced team of video professionals.
I am actively seeking employment beginning in June 2016 for a media role that features a large audience demographic of millennials. I am especially interested in roles that combine editorial and video/production duties for a holistic news gathering position.
